Live storytelling will transport you through time, with captivating dance, stories and multimedia displays. Discover the profound impact the Russian’s made on Sitka when they arrived in the late 18th century. Witness the effects of exploration, battles, and the groundbreaking efforts that shaped America’s first civil rights laws in 1945. Suitable for all ages, this unique and entertaining show celebrates Sitka’s diverse Tlingit, Russian, & American history. Naa Kahídi Dancers – Sitka Tribal Tours

The Tlingit Dancers perform in connection with Sitka Tribal Tours at the Sheet’ká Kwáan Naa Kahídi – Tribal Community House. Hear the songs of tradition handed down by generations of a living culture. Half-hour performance, see Dance Schedule  for dates. Tickets are sold one-half hour in advance of each performance at the Sheet’ká Kwáan Naa Kahídi – Tribal Community House.

New Archangel Dancers

Celebrating Sitka’s Russian heritage by performing lively, authentic, and professionally choreographed folk dances from Russia and surrounding regions. Regular summer shows are performed at Harrigan Centennial Hall in downtown Sitka. View the performance schedule here.
