Visit Sitka is the official destination marketing organization for the City and Borough of Sitka, focused on promoting Sitka as a year-round travel destination while supporting a strong, regenerative visitor experience for the community.

Marketing efforts are guided by the 2025-27 Strategic Marketing Plan, with a focus on independent travelers, year-round visitation, cultural tourism, and regenerative tourism. The goal is to promote experiences that reflect Sitka’s culture, land, and community while supporting a healthy visitor economy.

Visit Sitka is managed by Element Agency under contract with the City and Borough. There are no annual dues, baseline services are open to all Sitka tourism-related businesses. Additional marketing opportunities are available on an opt-in basis.
