Visit Sitka is the official destination marketing organization for the City and Borough of Sitka, focused on promoting Sitka as a year-round travel destination while supporting a regenerative visitor experience for the community.

Marketing efforts are guided by the 2025-27 Strategic Marketing Plan, with a focus on independent travelers, year-round visitation, cultural tourism, and regenerative tourism. The goal is to promote experiences that reflect Sitka’s culture, land, and community while supporting a healthy visitor economy.

Visit Sitka is managed by Element Agency under contract with the City and Borough. There are no annual dues, and baseline services are open to all Sitka tourism-related businesses. Additional marketing opportunities are available on an opt-in basis, coming soon.
