Louie the Lab Walking Tours

Louie the Lab Walking Tours is owned and operated by a local firefighter, a teacher, their son, and of course, Louie the lab. Their primary goal is to support small businesses by walking visitors around downtown and highlighting all Sitka has to offer from a local perspective. You’ll find companionship and a fun story along the way. Cost for the tours is entirely based on gratuity. Stickers are available for purchase to remember your time. The Sitka Maritime Heritage Society is a non-profit dedicated to preserving maritime heritage and sharing that legacy with the public especially youth. We offer tours to educate guests on Sitka’s rich maritime heritage. We are also restoring a historic building as a maritime heritage center and working boat space.
